The old Balzain was originally
built in late 16th century
and has been carefully restored into a beautiful resort with
9 rural houses.
All the original structures - timbered ceilings and stone
walls
were maintained during the restoration works.

The names of the houses evoke ancient
traditions
and bring in mind the Rural lifestyle of our ancestors:
the stable, the cowshed, the strawloft, the granary, the courtyard...

RURAL RESTAURANT
The Rural Restaurant has a wood-burning
oven,
a fireplace corner, a farm tool gallery,
the drying room for hams and a balcony to enjoy the stars.
All these are perfect complements to make this rural spot
charming, peaceful and calm.

In the rural restaurant, attended
by the farmers,
you can taste a delicious homemade meal
with fresh ecological vegetables,
just collected from our own garden and at low prices.

cured hams and sausages produced at the farm,
honey from their own beehives and roast lambs (cooked in wood
